I be like "Wow, it's nice that they don't portray Mafuyu's mom as being fully mask off manipulative to show that no mattrr WHAT her intentions are, her ACTIONS are severely harmful to Mafuyu," and then this BITCH tells a fucking like FOUR YEAR OLD "Why did you break our promise?"

#this was mostly in reference to the way that her mom said she could keep the synthesizer if it was important to her #but also with the SHEER amount of absolute GRIEF she gavw Mafuyu you fucking KNOW she was not being serious #because Mafuyu said like four times that she wanted to keep the fucking synthesizer #however the series does portray manipulative parents in a DREADFULLY realistic ass way #I mean like DAMN does that shit hit HOME #and everybody copes with it differently too #Toya understanding that his father 'wants him to be happy' (which to him is playing piano)#Ena completely rejecting her dad's perfection mentality #Mafuyu's constant grapple with her mom and not being able to accept OR reject her #it's all really painful and REALLY well done #damn
